Creating an invoice from a quote*

Here, we’ll walk you through how to create an invoice in Paragon from a quote.

You can also create an invoice from an order, from a ship, or manually.

The invoice module is based on Paragon’s standard transaction screen. If you are not familiar with the format of transaction screens, get yourself oriented on transaction screens.

Step 1: Open the Invoice module

Open the “Invoice” module by selecting it in the right hand navigation bar or in the more menu.

Step 2: Creating an invoice from a quote

Add a new invoice

This is the list view of the invoice module. To add a new invoice, click the create a new invoice button.

Select the quote

Select the method you want to create the invoice from. In this case make sure quote is selected.

It is selected when quote is highlighted in orange.

Select the quote you want to create the invoice from by checking the corresponding box on the left.

To deselect a quote, uncheck its box.

Saving or canceling an invoice

An invoice can be canceled at any point before it is saved by clicking reject in the bottom left hand corner.

To create and save an invoice from the quotes you selected, click accept in the bottom right hand corner.

Once you click accept, the invoice will be created and you will be brought to the detailed view.

Once the invoice is saved, it will automatically be assigned a transaction number and a temp status.

To return to list view, click the list-detail toggle button.

I’ve created my invoice, now what?
